The annual litter pick took place a little later this year in May rather than April. Despite the challenges presented by verges being more grown at this time of year (resulting in a few more stinging nettle instances than is usual, and cans being a little more tangled in the bushes), the intrepid volunteers dressed in their yellow jackets and armed with their litter pickers successfully cleared up our lovely village. Thank you to those volunteers and to Michael for the welcome post-pick drink and biscuits in the Church.
